Well this was certainly different from the YA paranormal stuff I usually read. Nice to see something with a spooky touch. It was definitely interesting...and while I liked the setting and ghost hunting, I wasn't that impressed with the main character, he was a jerk. I liked the friends he made more, even though he didn't really deserve them. Under the circumstances, moving around the country killing ghosts I can quite understand why you would be a jackass and keep people at arms length. Get the job done and move on. But...he grated on my nerves. Though I did quite like Anna the ghost. The story was interesting, had some nice gory bits and was unpredictable, which was also good, with a surprising ending. I liked the story enough that I've already got the sequel in paperback.
