I received a copy from Netgalley,

DNFed at 30%. So disappointed. This was nowhere near as good as the first book. I loved the first book,and was really looking forward to the second one. However, the second book is just not grabbing my attention. The plot feels like nothing has advanced much since the first book. This may be because I am skipping the chapters from Raef's view point because I can't stand them.

I love Eila's tone of voice, smart and snarky and there is something very relateable about her. However, Raef's chapters annoy the hell out of me. One page into one of his chapters and I want to throw things. The constant gushing over how wonderful and special Eila is and how much he loves her is vomit inducing. And I think in skipping his chapters I'm missing a big part of the plot.

And that's irritating me, and I'm finding myself losing interest in the rest of the book. So I'm DNFing.
